What this means for brand owners
If you carry an EPR obligation, your plastic waste has to reach a registered recycler and the paperwork has to hold up. Here is what our registration establishes.
Registered under Rule 13(3)
Greenway Recycler holds a Plastic Waste Recycler Registration issued by the Uttar Pradesh Pollution Control Board under Rule 13(3) of the Plastic Waste Management Rules 2016.
Processing codes R1, R2 and R3
The registration covers three processing codes: R1 for PET, R2 for LDPE and R3 for multi-layered plastic.
Consent to Operate in force
The plant runs under a current UPPCB Consolidated Consent to Operate and Authorisation, issued under the Water Act 1974 and the Air Act 1981.

The unit operates under the Plastic Waste Management Rules 2016 and holds the recycler registration listed above. We do not publish credit figures or certificate quantities on this page. Consent conditions
How the plant is required to run
These are not voluntary pledges. They are conditions written into the consent the plant operates under, and they are reported on.

Zero industrial effluent
The plant discharges no industrial effluent. Domestic discharge only, treated through a septic system, as recorded in our Consent to Operate.

Dry process, no washing
Waste plastic is not washed on site — a binding condition of our UPPCB consent that removes wash-water contamination entirely.

33% green belt
A third of the plant site is under tall-tree plantation, with Miyawaki forest development per the UP Environment Department directive.

IS 14534:1998 conformance
Recycling is carried out to the Indian Standard Guidelines for Recycling of Plastics, with quarterly compliance reporting to the Board.

Quarterly compliance reporting
Recycling under IS 14534:1998 is reported to the Uttar Pradesh Pollution Control Board through a quarterly compliance report.
